Minister B. Chris is passionate about multicultural ministry, social justice and connecting the church to serving its community. He has ministered in churches for 11 years in St. Louis and in Memphis. He has worked in youth, young adult, and community outreach and lead minister roles.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in youth ministry and Christian education from Harding University, as well as, a master’s degree in theology and ministry from Harding School of Theology. He has served on the boards of the Memphis and Mid-South YMCA and HopeWorks, Inc.
His work with non-profits has emphasized youth development, education, workforce development, ministry to the incarcerated and previously incarcerated, as well as, service to the under-resourced within the inner-city. He has worked as a coach and consultant on cultural/individual trauma and non-profit leadership.
He has travelled throughout the country speaking to churches and organizations for 15 years. He and his wife/best friend, Halley, have two children, Elle and Grey.
